The Far East Movement, also known as FM, is a music group formed in 2003 in Los Angeles, Calif. The group contains four members: Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman. Their hit single “Like a G6″ has lands No. 6 on the Billboard Charts. This interview introduces the group and their upcoming album Free Wired, which is released Oct 12. When it comes to looking cool, the Gulf’s youth knows what it likes: expensive cars, the latest mobiles and designer sunglasses. However, unlike many European or American teenagers, motorbikes aren’t often on the list. To help change that a group in Dubai is working with custom built “super bikes” to create a new biking league. There are issues, though. It’s an expensive business and most equipment has to be imported So can the league get off the ground? Philip Hampsheir’s been finding out.
